Title: The Hidden Ideological Thread Beyond Institutional History—A Review of Liang Bingfu’s Research on Chinese Education in Singapore

Abstract: This paper takes Liang Bingfu’s Research on Chinese Education in Singapore as the research object, and reinterprets the hidden ideological thread beyond institutional history from the perspective of international Chinese language education by introducing the theory of hidden curriculum. The study holds that language education is inherently accompanied by the transmission of values and cultural connotations, and the hidden curriculum plays an irreplaceable role in identity construction and cultural inheritance. Finally, it summarizes the implications of Singapore’s experience for international Chinese language education, including attaching importance to the hidden curriculum, adhering to equal dialogue in cultural communication, and balancing localization and internationalization. This paper enriches the research dimension of Singaporean Chinese education and provides a theoretical reference for the practice of international Chinese language education.
